Saif comes to Kareena's rescue

While we had reported just a few days back that Shahid Kapur and Kareena Kapoor had picked up forms for membership of the All India Film Employee Association (AIFEA), looks like the lady has already courted deep trouble.

Kareena, apparently, is facing the brunt of not returning the duly filled form in time. Reports say that the ongoing shoot of Kareena's film was stalled yesterday by the association staffers as she does not fall under the purview of its norms. And it was beau Saif Ali Khan who came to her rescue and quelled the matter.

When asked to clarify reports of their having stopped the actress from shooting, Dharmesh Tiwari, President of the association and General Secretary of TV and Cine Artist Association replied, "We didn't stop the shoot. We can't do that." But at the same time he admits that they stopped their own people from working on the film (and that answers it all for us).

"We stopped our people from working on that film. We asked them not to cooperate. Kareena had taken the form, but didn't return them duly filled." Understandably, Kareena is the only one to yet attain membership among the last slot of actors and according to AIFEA rules, problems that might happen with any actor professionally cannot be resolved if he/she is not a member of the umbrella association.

Looks like at least now better counsel will dawn on Kareena. Better late than never babes.
